The 2013 Reading Challenge Addicts challenge is hosted by Bev at Reading Challenge Addict. This challenge is for everyone who wants to tell the blogosphere that (s)he is a reading challenge addict. The challenge runs from January 1, 2013 till December 31, 2013; you can sign up until November 30, 2013. There are four levels of participating: Easy as Pie, On the Roof, In Flight, and Out of This World. The Chunkster Challenge 2013 is hosted by Wendy and Vasilly at the Chunkster Reading Challenge Blog. This challenge is perfect for classics addict, as many classics qualify as chunksters. According to the hosts' definition "a chunkster is 450 pages or more of ADULT literature, whether non-fiction or fiction." The challenge runs from January 1, 2013 till December 31, 2013 and there are four levels of participating: The Chubby Chunkster, The Plump Primer, Do These Books Make my Butt Look Big?, and Mor-book-ly Obese. You can read books from every genre and they may crossover with other challenges. However, essay, poetry, short story collections, ebooks, and audiobooks doesn't count. And, reviews are not mandatory. You too can set your goal and join the challenge! My personal goal is to read at least 4 chunksters in 2013, but I'm planning to read 8. So I'm hoping to reach the "The Plump Primer" challenge level, even though I'm signing up for the "The Chubby Chunkster" level for the time being. I also made a TBR list for this challenge, although it wasn't requested. My list consists mainly of books I've never read, but I've also included a few re-reads, which are marked with an asterisk.
